Stages of Rehabilitation

These are the stages required to get you back to full fitness while reducing your risk of re-injury.


How long you spend in each phase is very individual depending on the injury and your requirements. 

  1.  Reduce pain & recover, restore range of motion and function.

  2. General strength and skill re-training.

  3. Prorioceptive & balance training.

  4. Sport specific & plyometric exercises. Make sure you run, jump and land skillfully and safely. 

  5. Testing for return to play, return to sport.

  6. Reduce risk of recurrance or re-injury.
